These qualifications are designed to equip you with all the technical skills and knowledge required to fulfil a supporting role in accountancy. 5. FOUNDATIONS IN PROFESSIONALISM AND PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

ACCA requires that you complete an online module called Foundations in Professionalism so that you understand what it means to work and act professionally and ethically in a workplace. This is to be completed only once and can be done at anytime but you must finish it before you are granted the certificate for the first qualification you are studying for. You don’t need to do it for any qualifications thereafter.

In order to become a Certified Accounting Technician, you must pass all nine of the FIA papers and must have 12 months supervised relevant work experience. This experience can be before you started studying, while you are studying or after you’ve completed your studies.
